If you are in the 514 this upcoming weekend, just a reminder that SCP takes places at the Stade Olympic. This fall show is a 4 point NCAA event and attracts over 60,000 spectators.
Feature cars include a Corvette ZR-1, current covercar of PASMag’s blue Fortune Veilside RX-7 (Team Emotion), Ferrari F575, Falken Tires drift car and the unveiling of the Top Tuner Cadillac CTS-V.
As zucru ages, our members have gone from being students to professionals and from courting and dating, to getting married. Fellow zucru member Minh is no exception. He and his beautiful wife Donna are expecting their first little one. Minh has been with zucru from the beginning, from late night cramming to graduation and off to become a professional in his field. We were all there when he celebrated his marriage, and now we’re all together to celebrate baby Nguyen.
Currently based outta Calgary, they made the trek back to Winnipeg to celebrate with friends and family!

Well, zucru has been working Mixed Menace too hard and he’s finally bitten us back, and it hurts, we’ve demanded music every day and he was so angry he told us “NO!! you get it monthly now.” Yes that’s right just like that mysterious visit the ladies get, only ours is less painful and more enjoyable, and we look forward to our monthly visit from Mixed Menace.
So, sorry guys, I fucked up and I got us a monthly feed instead.
At least the music is still coming. We’ll get this scheduled music thing down eventually. So look forward to the next release, and we’ll have something up from a month within that time. Who knows maybe he’ll give us a bonus mix every once in a while to keep the hunger at bay!

It was a great time in Edmonton thanks to my hosts. I enjoyed the ride alongs and meeting all the DMCC drivers and Formula D personalities. There is absolutely nothing like a live drift event. Watching it on video does nothing like experiencing the sights and smells of being at the track. I must have gotten the equivalent of a full tire in my nostrils and hairs from all the flying tire particles!

Yours truly, Grandmasterchan will be in Edmonton for the Championship round of the Castrol DMCC series. DMCC is Drift Mania Canadian Championship and takes place at the Castrol Raceway. ZuCru will be having their annual meet and greet to close out the fall season. Come join us to shoot the breeze and check out the cars followed by a cruise to Half Moon Restaurant in Lockport, MB.
The cruise will take us along River Road where we will enjoy a scenic drive followed by a stop at Half Moon to enjoy some hot eats and cool treats.
The meet will start at 1pm at the Burger King parking lot located at Confusion Corner (Pembina, Osborne, Donald and Corydon.) We will depart at 1:30pm from this location.
Everybody is welcome! Come out for the meet, you never know what will show up.
Please be courteous and respectful of others on the road during the cruise as we will not tolerate any imprudent driving.
